Salad Base

  • 4 cups Fresh spinach Wash and dry thoroughly, tear or chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cups Strawberries Slice into thin pieces.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Optional, rinse and pat dry.

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Toasted pecans Toast in a dry skillet until golden.
  • 1/2 cup Crumbled feta cheese Sprinkle generously on top.

Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons Balsamic glaze Drizzle over the salad.
  • to taste Salt Season to enhance flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Fresh ground is preferred.

Preparation

  • Begin by washing and drying the fresh spinach thoroughly. Tear or chop into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
  • Rinse the strawberries under cold water, pat dry, and slice them thin. If using blueberries, rinse and pat them dry as well. Add both to the bowl with spinach.
  • Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the salad. If they haven't been toasted yet, toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden.
  • Crumble feta cheese and scatter it over the salad.

Assembly

  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the ingredient and season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss the salad gently to combine, ensuring not to bruise the strawberries or spinach.
  • Serve immediately as a side dish or the main attraction.
