  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes Provides sweetness.

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Adds earthy flavor.
  • 1 piece lime Juice helps prevent browning.

Preparation

  • Cut each ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the mixing bowl.
  • Chop the red onion and add it to the mixture along with the fresh cilantro.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture to add flavor and prevent browning.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mixing

  • Gently toss all the ingredients together without mashing the avocados to keep the texture.
  • Serve immediately or chill for a few minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, use ripe avocados. Store leftovers in an airtight container, but consume within a day to avoid browning. Adding extra lime juice can help minimize browning.
