Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  • Add baking soda and salt, and mix well.
  • Incorporate the granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing gently.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour, folding until just incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and level it out.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Feel free to customize with mix-ins like nuts or chocolate chips. Store wrapped at room temperature for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
