Dressing

Preparation

  • Rinse the broccoli florets thoroughly, chop them into bite-sized pieces, and prepare for mixing.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to paper towels to drain and chop into small pieces.
  • Grate the cheddar cheese finely and halve the grapes, checking for seeds.

Assembly

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, diced bacon, shredded cheddar, halved grapes, and sunflower seeds.
  • In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth, then pour over the salad mixture.
  • Toss gently to coat the salad evenly, season with salt and pepper to taste, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding finely chopped red onions or bell peppers. You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.
