Preparation

  • Begin by ensuring you have cooked chicken breast ready to go. Dice it into bite-sized pieces.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken with the mayonnaise. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Gently mix in the finely chopped celery and green onions.
  • Fold in the halved grapes to avoid crushing them.

Seasoning Your Salad

  • Sprinkle in salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste. Optionally, add fresh herbs at this point.
  • Mix everything gently and let the salad sit for a short while for flavors to meld.

Serving and Storing

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of Dijon mustard. To lighten the dish, substitute Greek yogurt for some of the mayonnaise. Best served chilled.
