Ingredients
  

Base and Protein

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice You can choose either type based on preference.

Buffalo Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce Choose mild, medium, or hot based on desired spice level.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted to combine with buffalo sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Toppings

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For sprinkle on top.
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing For drizzling.
  • Sliced green onions For garnish.
  • Avocado slices Optional, for added creaminess.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine your favorite hot sauce with melted unsalted butter. Whisk until fully integrated into a smooth sauce.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.

Combine and Simmer

  • Reduce heat to low and pour the prepared buffalo sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir gently to coat and let simmer for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.

Assemble the Bowls

  • Layer cooked rice at the bottom of each bowl.
  • Top with buffalo chicken, followed by shredded lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the top. Garnish with sliced green onions and avocado.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust the spice level by choosing milder or hotter buffalo sauces. Use pre-cooked rice for a quicker preparation. Buffalo Chicken Bowls are also great for meal prepping.
