Ingredients
  

Potato Chips

  • 2 large potatoes Sliced into thin chips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Burger Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup pickles
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • To taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Wash and slice the potatoes into thin chips and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Combine the potato slices with olive oil and half of the spice mix in a large bowl.

Cooking Chips

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) or prepare the air fryer.
  • Lay the chips in a single layer on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or air fry for about 20 minutes until crispy.

Cook Ground Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  • Stir in the remaining spice mix and cook until fully incorporated.

Prepare Burger Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix mayo (or Greek yogurt), ketchup, and mustard; adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  • Start with a layer of crispy potato chips, then add shredded lettuce, cooked ground beef, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Top with pickle slices and drizzle with burger sauce before serving.

Notes

Consider using sweet potatoes for added flavor, or different cheeses for a unique twist. Store components separately for freshness.
