Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, melted Richness, moisture

Cheesecake Filling

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until fully combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the baking dish to form a sturdy crust.
  • In a large bowl, blend the cream cheese with the granulated sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust, drizzling caramel on top and swirling gently with a knife.

Baking

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle. Cool and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.

Notes

Use high-quality cream cheese at room temperature for best results. For added complexity, combine sweet and tart apples. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
