Ingredients

Steak

  • 1 pound flank or sirloin steak, sliced thin against the grain Provides heartiness and richness.

Cooking Essentials

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Adds flavor and prevents steak from sticking.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds aromatic depth.

Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates the creamy sauce.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend) Adds richness and flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper Balances flavors.

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, for garnish Adds freshness and color.

Instructions

Preparation and Cooking Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside without rinsing.

Cooking the Steak

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Season steak slices with salt and pepper and sear for 4 to 6 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then gradually add the shredded cheese while stirring until smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked pasta and sliced steak to the sauce, tossing gently to combine until everything is heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a different flavor, experiment with various cheeses or add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. Store leftovers separately to maintain texture.
