Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well blended. Add the slightly cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
  • In another bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a more intense chocolate flavor, use a blend of dark and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting for the best results.
