  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your favorite type) Cook according to package instructions.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (preferably lean) Provides the main protein source.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced) Enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates creamy texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or Parmesan) Adds flavor and richness.
  • Salt and pepper (to taste) Seasoning to enhance taste.

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish) Adds freshness.

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and let it mix with the beef juices. Reduce heat slightly.
  • Gradually add in the shredded cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, and toss gently to coat well with the sauce.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For variations, add spinach, bell peppers, or use whole grain pasta. Leftovers can be transformed into a baked pasta dish by adding more cheese and baking at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
