Preparation

  • Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under cold water and slice them thinly using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the white vinegar, sugar, salt, and dill weed until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add the sliced cucumbers into the bowl with the dressing. Use a large spoon to gently toss them to ensure they're evenly coated.
  • Cover and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating thinly sliced red onions or cherry tomatoes. Other herbs like parsley or cilantro can also be used. Adjust the sweetness of the dressing to your liking.
