Instructions
 

Preparation of Crust

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create a solid base.

Preparation of Filling

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  • Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.
  • Gently fold in the sour cream and flour until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the filling batter over the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes until the edges are set but the center slightly wobbles.
  • Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter. Consider using a water bath to prevent cracking.
