For the skewers

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed Use high-quality sirloin for tenderness and flavor.

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melts into a delicious garlic butter sauce.

For the garlic butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds aromatic flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Provides a zesty balance.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place cubed sirloin steak in a large bowl, coat with olive oil, and sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, toss peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • Melt unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Remove from heat and mix in chopped parsley, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

Grilling

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Thread marinated steak and shrimp onto the skewers, alternating them.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side until steak is at desired doneness and shrimp is pink.
  • Serve immediately, drizzled with garlic butter.

Notes

Consider adding bell peppers, onions, or zucchini to the skewers for added texture and flavor. Experiment with different seasonings in the marinade to adjust the flavor profile. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
