Preparation

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, making sure not to cut all the way through to create a pocket.
  • Generously butter the insides of each roll with a spatula or knife.

Cooking

  • Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the preheated skillet and add a thick layer of shredded cheese on top.
  • Press down gently with the top halves of the rolls.
  • Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip gently and grill the other side until done.
  • Remove from skillet, slice sandwiches in half, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add spices like garlic powder to enhance flavors. Serve with sauces or fresh fruits for a balanced meal.
