Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it browns, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Add diced potatoes and stir to coat in the beef mixture.
  • Pour in beef broth, bring to a gentle simmer, and cover.
  • Cook for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • If using peas, stir them in during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months. Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor.
