Ingredients
  

Cake base

  • 1 package Angel food cake mix Ensure to follow package instructions

Cream cheese filling

  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Should be at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tub Whipped topping Fold in carefully
  • 1/2 cup Crushed pineapple

Toppings

  • 1 jar Peach pie filling Can substitute with other fruit fillings

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions. Prepare your baking pan as specified.
  • Mix the angel food cake mix with water as instructed on the package. Whip until soft peaks form.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until golden brown and set, about 30-40 minutes.
  • Once baked, cool the cake upside down.

Filling Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping and crushed pineapple.

Assembly

  • Once the cake has cooled, slice it in half horizontally.
  • Spread the cream cheese filling over the bottom layer, then add a layer of peach pie filling.
  • Place the top layer back on and serve.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps. You can substitute with different fruits or pie fillings as desired.
