  • 2 medium Cucumbers English cucumbers are ideal
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Ripe and juicy
  • 8 oz Fresh mozzarella cheese Soft and moist
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves Torn into smaller pieces
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil For drizzling
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar For a tangy brightness
  • to taste Salt Enhances natural flavors
  • to taste Black pepper Enhances natural flavors

Preparation

  • Wash and peel the cucumbers if desired, then slice them into rounds about half an inch thick.
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the cucumber slices.
  • Cut the mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl.
  • Tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then gently toss everything together.
  • Serve chilled for the best experience.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the salad in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Feel free to add ingredients like avocados or different herbs to customize it.
