Preparation

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine freshly squeezed lime juice, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts generously with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).

Grilling

  • Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill, making sure not to overcrowd.
  • Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Resting and Serving

  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Slice the avocado and chop fresh cilantro for garnish.
  • Plate the chicken and arrange avocado and cilantro on top before serving.

Notes
