Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with garlic powder and onion powder for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Drain excess grease and transfer the cooked beef to a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Cook the bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then chop it and stir into the beef mixture.

Assembly

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Gradually mix three-quarters of the shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
  • Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the beef and bacon in the casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  • Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
