Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground meat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let the filling cool.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut circles to fit your muffin tin.

Assembly

  • Press pastry circles into muffin cups.
  • Spoon meat mixture into each pastry shell.
  • Top with another pastry circle, crimping edges to seal.
  • Brush tops with beaten egg.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before serving.
