Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until well-combined.
  • Press this mixture into the base of a springform pan.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour this mixture over the crust, creating a uniform layer.
  • Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the cream cheese layer and place a cherry in the center of each slice.
  • Bake for approximately 60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  • Allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother filling. Experiment with flavor variations such as coconut extract or spices. Serve slices with whipped cream or caramel sauce for an extra touch.
