  • 4 slices Sourdough bread Durable base that toasts well and holds fillings
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing Adds creaminess and enhances overall flavor
  • 1 cup Leafy greens (like romaine or spinach) Provides freshness and nutritional value
  • 1 medium Tomato Adds juiciness and bright flavor
  • 2 slices Cheese (optional, like cheddar or provolone) Provides creaminess and enhances savory flavors

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season liberally with ranch seasoning mix. Massage the seasoning into the meat and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a skillet, heat over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Once done, remove and drain on paper towels.

Cooking

  • Add a splash of olive oil to the same skillet and heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts, cooking for about 6-8 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden.

Assembly

  • Spread ranch dressing on one side of each slice of toasted bread. Layer the lettuce, grilled chicken, bacon, and tomato on one slice. Optionally, add cheese before topping with the second slice of bread, ranch dressing side down. Cut in half and serve.

Notes

For best results, marinate chicken for the full 2 hours. Customize by adding ingredients like avocado or swapping ranch dressing for a yogurt-based alternative. Use an air fryer or toaster oven to reheat leftover sandwiches for best texture.
