Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh spinach leaves Washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups Ripe strawberries Washed, hulled, and sliced
  • 1 cup Crumpled feta cheese For a creamy texture
  • 4 slices Crispy bacon Cooked and crumbled (optional)

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup Balsamic dressing For drizzling over the salad
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

Preparation

  • Wash the spinach leaves under cold running water and dry them with a paper towel or salad spinner.
  • Tear the dried spinach into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Wash the strawberries, remove the green stems, and slice them into thin rounds.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the bowl with the spinach.

Assembly

  • Crumble the feta cheese over the spinach and strawberries.
  • Add the crispy bacon pieces to the salad (or substitute with walnuts or pecans for a vegetarian option).
  • Drizzle the balsamic dressing over the salad and gently toss all the ingredients.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting flavors as desired.

Notes

Dress the salad just before serving to keep the spinach crisp. You can customize it by adding nuts or grilled chicken for a more substantial meal.
